Telework Exchange and Adobe hosted the complimentary Telework in a Box event in Brooklyn, New York on Thursday, September 15, 2011. Government agency and industry professionals discussed telework best practices in telework management and technology. The event focused on the requirements of Public Law 111-292, the Telework Enhancement Act of 2010, and addressed key considerations when establishing a telework program. Panelists also discussed how to manage a distributed workforce and leverage collaborative technologies that support a telework environment.

Melkia Ames of the Internal Revenue Service, Paul Palazzolo of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, and Emily Timmerman of Adobe Systems, Inc. discussed key criteria for telework technology solutions and the importance of cross platform functionality and mobile applications.
Emily Timmerman of Adobe Systems, Inc. provided a demonstration of Adobe Connect, a collaborative web conferencing solution.
